Slack is one of the most popular Office chat systems, and is used by organizations of different sizes. It allows team members to converse over different chat rooms, which can be assigned to different topics and selected users. Slack provides a Switch Manager to help the user navigate between different chat groups. All of Slack’s content is searchable, and it integrates with a large number of third-party services and community-built integrations, including Google Drive, Dropbox, Heroku, Crashlytics, Github, Asana, Google Hangouts etc. Some of its key features include sharing code snippets, maintaining private groups and maintaining chat history, among others. Slack brings all members of an organization under a single roof, to communicate effectively, irrespective of where they may be located. They provide apps for iOS and Android, as well as Windows and OS X applications. It can also be accessed through any web browser.
Microsoft Teams does not offer screen-sharing. However, Slack as well as Atlassian's Confluence offer screen-sharing and a ton of other team collaboration features.
