Neutrino takes an address string and attempts to match this with possible real world locations and retrieves the geographic coordinates as latitude and longitude. You may also use this to verify postal addresses, find postal codes, or get a neatly formatted address suitable for shipping.

Location results are ordered by most relevant to the original search address, Neutrino uses a method based on the Levenshtein distance to determine the order if more than one location is found.
Reverse geocoding is the opposite of address geocoding. This API is ideal for applications which process location data (for example mobile GPS data) and need to correlate this with real places. If your coordinates do not map directly (or very close to) to a real address then you can still locate street, city, region and country information.
You can also get location information about an IP address and do reverse DNS (PTR) lookups.
