When you need to collect information, learn people’s preferences or gather feedback, there’s nothing better than a form. Online forms builders enable you to create forms to collect user data. They allow you to customize the fields of the form based on your requirement like name, company, email ID etc. You can also add fields which allow users to upload files before submitting the form. Once you build out the required form using one of the form builder tools, you can host the form on a page or get a script to embed the form on a page on your website/blog. When users submit the form, the data is stored by the selected service and can be accessed by logging in. This is an easy way to create forms on your website to capture user/lead information.

Here are some free form builders:

1.     Google Forms: Google Forms is a web based form builder tool, which is a part of the Google Productivity Suite that differs from the other tools as it only provides a free plan. It caters to individual users as well as small and large sized organizations. Google Forms has an ever-expanding list of themes and lets the user create their own custom theme. Users can be added to collaborate on the form building using features such as page and question skip logic. There is no limit to the number of respondents, forms and entries with an added storage space of 30GB for file upload fields.

2.     Zoho Forms: ZohoForms is a web-based form builder which is powered by both web as well as Native Mobile applications. The native mobile application is the first of its kind where it has a Form builder which works offline. It is synced to the web and vice-versa when the user turns online. One can also submit data to the Form when offline and the data will be synced to the web when the native application goes online. Zoho Forms has features addressing both the website administrators who want to design and embed Forms in their website to enterprise users who want to accomplish simple workflows. They also supports Approval workflow with both web and mobile notification and provides Reports where users can filter the records based on criteria and restrict the columns that they want to view. They also provide Analytics where the Form owner can assess from where View for the Form, number of records submitted and the conversion rate.

3.     JotForm: JotForm is an online form-building tool that claims to have a user base of over a million. All its plans offer unlimited number of forms and entries per form, also providing most of the form-building features in the free plan. Its advanced form builder includes varied themes, import, export capabilities and embed link to websites. Plug-ins can be added to complement the software such as email newsletters, Dropbox forms, and SalesForce and Zapier integration etc. They currently have a beta Android app for user management of forms.

      4.   WuFoo Forms: WuFoo is an online form builder that provides an interactive and user-friendly interface for its users.
