A thank-you landing page is the confirmation page that someone is redirected to after filling out a form on your landing page. Its where you bring back your navigation, deliver on the promise made on the last page (i.e. share the ebook, video, etc.), and most importantly, its your next opportunity to nurture the lead down the sales funnel.
Confirmation pages are an underutilized place to get more from your potential customer. The reason it’s such a valuable place to interact with these people is that they can be considered very “warm” given that they just completed your intended conversion goal, meaning they are looking at what you have to offer in a favorable light.
The more you do for your new leads, the more likely they’ll be receptive to your subsequent marketing efforts. Don’t consider the sales process over just because a purchase has been made. Always offer something for your customers to do next. The conversation is not over until your leads say it is over, so keep on with your marketing.
