An email alias is an alternate/virtual email address that points to an existing email id. This email account does not physically exist. Any email sent to the alias account is forwarded to the original email id. For example, if john@example.com is an original email id, it can have an alias like info@example.com - Any email sent to info@example.com will be forwarded to john@example.com.
